What Bill said, Nick. We'll have plenty of gear between us all, so don't rush to get your own.
Just provide us a place to attach to on your truck.

@Jibbs what are the stock front recovery points on your trucks like?

It's important to have recovery points both front and rear.

I have that rear shackle hitch. First thing I bought for both trucks. And yeah I have the factory front hook too. Guess I'll be good if the dates work out.

If the same spot, the road starts off pretty nice (paved) and steadily gets worse. Not bad in a truck, but there are some major potholes as you get closer to the camp. Go slow and you should be ok....provided it doesn't get any worse this year.

sounds questionable for a front wheel drive Highlander with running boards, 19" wheels, and high performance summer tires. If I can go, guess wife and at least 1 child stays home so I can take my truck. ;)

Whole family won't fit in yours?
You should be able to make it to camp in the Highlander easy. Just avoid the holes, assuming it doesn't rain hard and the road/trail isn't turned into a creek.

Probably not but that hasn't stopped me before. Might as well tear the bumper all the way off this time
