 Sacrifices for the best shots
I was going to sell it, but the buyer flaked. I can't bring it back upstairs into our apartment with the two of us so since it was outside decided to ride it again. I missed it so much!
Just finished paying off my DRZ, so now I can start trowing money at my truck to clean it up, setting it back to stock-ish, and then I can sell it for a 4x4. I need the DRZ to use as a commuter for while I'm without my truck.

That would be awesome! Full sun/UV proof suit haha.
    Yes!

At least you have her truck as backup. I had to commute on my motorcycle for about 6 months after my sister got hit in my SUV. Worst time of my life when needing to buy stuff bigger than my backpack.

Haha yeah backpack doesn't hold much. And the little bag on the rear fender is near useless too

10 miles each way. I take the side streets on the bike. It tops out at 75 and I have to be all the way forward on the tank to hold the front wheel down. The dirt tires aren't ideal for on the road haha. So no freeway use with it, but there is a stretch for a few miles where the speed limit is 65 so I'm 5th gear tapped on it. Fortunately very minimal traffic on my route.

It's the S (enduro) version, wheelies like a champ until the shitty stock carb starves for fuel haha
    IMG_2124.jpg

Eventually I'd like to pick up the SM forks and a wheel set for street tires. FCR carb upgrade, and exhaust come first though. But that's still a ways away. Need to sort out the truck first. Too many toys! Haha

Oh you have the S, I assumed the SM. How do you like the S?

I've been contemplating about selling my commuter/track bike ('07 600rr) and getting an FZ-09 to commute with since it's much more comfortable. Just not sure if I want to give up track riding yet.

We should organize a meet up spot and caravan to this. I promise not to run over any nails this time.

Just submitted my PTO for that Friday (22nd). Going to try and head out early so I can do some runs ahead of time.
