    I leave mine on while switching from 2wd to 4hi, 4lo or any combination.... Grey wire mod :D think there is a similar mod for 2nd gens, just more involved. I love being able to have it locked when ever.

    just do it.. its one of my favorite mods. did mine like 3 years ago.. not a single issue.. just kept the rear end locked to whole time out at glamis.. when i needed 4wd.. just switch into 4hi real quick.. and went on my way.

    i believe you, before i downgraded to street tires and could actually launch my truck in the sand i would smoke everything out there on the drags...

    bikes, banshees, ford raptors, light rails, not a single truck could hang.. only thing i couldn't run down were the v8 rails.. How fast could you get going out there?
