    I went stock without sliders last year. A little trail pinstriping was the worst. @mwc273 pulled me out a few times with a snatch strap & all was good. Better tires would certainly help. Hope to upgrade mine before Rush meat this year.

    Beat the shit outta 3 tabs and got them to stand back up. Didn't weld yet, they'll likely fall back down before then :annoyed:
    Now need an alignment, so that I can knock it out at the meet.

    Planning on welding up my sliders today after work since it’s finally not hotter than the devils balls! Also order my tires last night... went with Dick Cepek trail country EXP (their newest tire) in 285/75r16
    Might even order a winch and get it on in time.... but I doubt it. Looking forward to this ride. M Probably won’t be down there but for 1 day since I have a newborn... the wife wouldn’t like it if I were gone all weekend

    Don't worry so much about the winch. I'd rather have recovery points over the winch, at first. We'll have at least 2-4 trucks with winches.
    Be mindful of alignment and cab mount after those bigger tires. Ditch the mud flaps or the trails will do it for you.

    I'm with ya on outside stuff now that the rain cooled things down a bit. I've got plenty to do in the next 16 days :goingcrazy:

    weld cam tabs
    put skids back on
    probably pull the topper so I can confidently do dumb(er) shit and not smash it
    maybe pull a leaf out the Dakars, idk about all that yet
    tighten some things
    contact the park to verify discount if available
