3rd Brake light leaking

I know it’s a known problem by hadn’t seen any signs of leaking until today. It’s been raining here in ga for 2 days straight. Seats are soaked and my headliner is stained. Called the dealer and I’m taking it Monday to get a loaner and see what they have to say.

 

I had the same issue. I noticed water marks on the plastic behind the rear seats. I took them to the dealership and they said they've seen this happen quite often. They fix the issue under the warranty.

 

My .02cents would be to apply silicone around the 3rd brake lamp after they replace it. Have them detail your interior by a professional so it wont smell like wet socks.

 

this is probably a good idea to reinforce their work. Clear silicone for sure
