This- every time I get back from the dealer something seems to be damaged or broken. Replacement headlights cost a scratch in the new lens and a loose bumper/broken bumper guide panel/clip. If I had the install guide for the fuel pump recall I bet I’d find something there too.

As I looked mine up on the website, there was a button to submit reimbursement paperwork for owners that paid to correct this issue. Might be worth a look.

I still can't login to their site. I get the "Sorry, our site is temporarily unavailable" error on every computer I've tried and phone.

I had my 35K LOF Monday the 9th. Just my luck, but I'll wait until my next oil change and add it to the list. Since mine is a 2019, hopefully it won't leak before then.

Just checked mine on the Toyota recall site. I'm on the list but I'm not leaking. Will eventually go in for my trim ring.

I called. Mines on the list. I asked what they do and they told me they replaced the whole light.
Doubtful. But they are gonna call me when it arrives ....

Toyota didn't get my break light done. There's clear silicone I appiled, saying it might be a problem. Waiting on district Toyota manager to dicsuss it. Apparently there is 7 different fixes so they say.
The service advisor isn't vehicle/car knowledgeable to answer or give answers for questions.

I’d really rather they didn’t pull my trim and headliner, keeping a watch on this thread for a bit until I schedule mine. Sucks that I just had my 24 month service and inspection done 3 weeks ago, would have had it done if it was just a new trim ring.

Did they say what the did, can you tell if they pulled any trim or the headliner? I assume that you weren’t experiencing any leaks?

They should pull the light. I took my own out to add a new gasket and discovered the inside was cracked where the bolt is held. I ordered a new light and will replace it myself.

If they don't inspect the light I'm not sure what could happen down the road if it's damaged.

I found it for $102 and free shipping from a Toyota dealer online. Ebay has them cheaper but not sure how authentic they are. I plan to apply for reimbursement from Toyota so hopefully it will be covered.
