Are Evil MFG and Meso the only companies that make decent looking 3rd brake lights for our trucks (2nd gen)? I wanted the meso customs assembly but just like everything else meso it’s out of stock and I’m not really digging the Evil look. PFA

This guy joined the team last night and will soon have one of his own! :)

I make these out of Carbon fiber infused nylon so it's tough AF. Confirmed to fit 1st and 2nd, but should fit 3rd gens as well.
Available with or without pods(incase you already have them) and can be made with whatever color/wiring configuration you'd like. You can have all 3 be a brake or throw in an Aux/Safety light if you'd like and control it separately. I keep my middle pod on a remote fob and use it as an aux. You can always change your configuration so you're not limited to being stuck with whatever colors you install.

Currently have 2 versions available; a standard mount and a flush-face baja designs mount

    My standard mount:

Very cool! Appreciate the little things and I think you have a winning formula of material use. The 3d print I got from MESO was actually making me nervous to even get near it after install since it will become brittle eventually (that's a simple materials fact folks).

Also great choice on using the baja lights. And, great little designs like the cup holder !!!

Yes sir! Thank you for the kind words!! Numerous printing businesses running for over 6 years at this point, with various products being featured in the real world and in movies, shows, and podcasts!
When the proper material is used it shouldn't get brittle. Was his entire mount that way, or only a section of it? Meso makes great stuff, too. Could have been a bad batch. I thought he started injection molding his stuff, could be wrong though!

Any chance you'd consider producing a third brake light that would incorporate a camera that points into the bed?

    Heck yes!

Sure! I can do a custom design. The BD version of my brake light started as a custom design for a customer(he hasn't installed the light yet or else I'd have pics of it mounted)
DM me, I can easily make that happen!

I can make you one for it! Not sure if the tacoma lights fit your topper but I can adjust accordingly.

    never knew about that

that and others for sure look better than the cheap smoked crap I have from Amazon that tends to fade quick

too bad I have it blocked with a shell so upgrade would be pointless
