Are there any companies out there that make an extended 3rd break light to mount a cb antenna to? I’ve seen some for Ford raptors from PCI radios but nothing I’ve seen for Tacoma’s.
    Any help is appreciated

I’ve seen his set ups, but I don’t need all the extra light. I just want to be able to mount an antenna with my current 3rd tail light.

Considering that light has been the source of many leaks, do you really want to mess with that area?

While to add anything there you would have to take the 3rd brake light assembly apart. My guess is the seals are shitty and I would replace this anyways. But the Meso customs lights are really great looking and would be awesome I don’t think I any of the added brightness from badass lights like KC and BD would help me with anything besides making my truck badass .

Here’s my power ham antenna mount. Keeps away from the brake light and more importantly the shark fin. Plus I can see the up/down with a quick glance through the moon roof.

Unfortunately, it is the only option if you want a 3rd gen NMO third brake light. Baja Design lights are roughly 60 a peice, so you could go with a BD3 NMO if you wanted to keep it simple.

That would be a good reason to replace it. The factory third brake light has faulty foam sealant, that will eventually leak. It's just a matter of when it will leak. This resolves that issue.

Here’s a POC 19 1/4” mag mount, basically disposable if I Klonk it on limbs or parking garage. I typically stow it under the scanner antenna mount unless I need CB comms. As CB is so much less versatile than Ham I rarely actually use it unless that’s all the caravan has.
