i have all pro ifs and tcase skids on the way, SS brake lines on the way, sliders in the construction phase, diff breather mod parts in just have to pick up, rear facing lights to install, a fuse block and breaker that needs to be purchased and installed, and some new switches to be installed...most of which needs to be in by next friday when i head to moab tho, so i'll be busy this weekend and won't have much to do come mod day...probably the fuse block/breaker, switches and lights will be left over

I just got done installing the lights behind my grill and retrofitting a volant ram air intake into my TRD CAI.

BTW Chris I owe you, the lights work great. Maybe not the brightest but adds a meaner look to the truck.

Would anyone be interested in having the M&G in the Springs?

350$. And I will do it all at my house. Have every thing including a welder and tools to do the cab chop. Just not the alignment.

Thought a mod day was to help, 350 seems to be a lil steep. I'd understand if he took it to you and you did it all on a Sunday afternoon on your own, but my guess on a mod day you'll have more help? Just my 2cents.

Don't see a date or place set to do it? And if he does not want to wait $350 is not steep. Call around. About $450 for the kit and $125 to $175 for the sliders.

You misunderstood me, I'm saying for a mod day. Which is why it seems right if he comes by on a non mod day

MOD day or not price would be the same I would think? Not unless Chris decides to have a "sale day"

mod day price should decrease, given that there are other people there willing to lend a helpful hand lending their services for free...then you would have a decreased "bill" from chris and free work performed by others "discount"

if the work is done primarily by chris using his tools, garage and knowledge..i can see why the price would be constant..unless he's willing to do a mod day discount..

In my opinion, mod days are for helping people. There is usually more than one person working on it, which is the entire point of a mod day so no one has to take their stuff to get installed elsewhere.

I understand the price if Chris did it by himself with little to know help on a random day. But to me the whole point of a mod day is helping out. Though donations encouraged maybe I dunno..

Agreed but seems how everyone hits up chris for mods he would do the vast majority of it? Last mod day everyone used all of his stuff and received a small thank u from some and another just booked it.
If everyone is helping one another with this or that I could see free but if it's one person doing the labor, one persons propane, tools, shop towels, etc etc then there would be a price I would imagine

If Chris does all the work without help then thats a good price. With a couple other guys handing out free labor then maybe around $150 for his supplies on a MOD day at his house.
A person should be paid for his work and not used for his tools and talent most definitely. I also believe that there is a time and place where payments are due and those times where it is a friendly thing to help out, shoot the shit and drink beers. For example helping a friend move. Shouldn't expect to be paid but should expect to get a few beers and pizza.

I agree that everyone can't just propose a mod day for Chris to install a lift for them for free.

If your friends it's diff but if you are just an acquaint then there should be a price.
