Just purchased and its still on sale. Figured with an $80 investment, I will have a peace of mind for the next 10+ years I own this truck. How long does shipping usually take?

 

It will be in the mail on the 2nd due to the holiday but should only take a few days based on my experiences. I shipped all the orders received today before the post office pickup.

@scleaf Do these fit on the original 2016 hinge design. I know a few months into production, Toyota changed the hinge design on the later 2016 to current Tacoma’s hinge.

 

When I checked with Toyota they had said the early 2016 might have the 2015 or the first part number, but also said all the parts were superceded with the current parts.

A picture in this case could help answer this question. The transitions are always hard as it depends on when they cut in the parts.

PM me some picture and I should be able to answer. We can always try it but would like a picture first.

 

I ordered one. Not sure how I didn't see this earlier. I wrote a note in my order seeing if there was a way that you could make sure that you get it out quickly. I am active duty Navy, and I deploy very soon and would love to get this installed prior to deploying so that I don't have to worry about it for the next 6 months. Thank you in advance.

that's a much better option. But I have to say.... if the 3rd gen came with a actually rear bumper this wouldn't have happened at all. At the 2nd and 1st gens bumpers were metal and stuck out some to protect the tail.

 

If I ever get the time I am going to build a front and rear bumper for my 2013 I have ideas but no time
