3rd Gen 2020 SR 8 inch Diff

I'm curious as to what other Toyotas share the 8-in differential that comes with third generation SR models.
I guess this would be all of those that aren't 8.75 in.
Does this differential matchup with old school 8-in diffs?
Same as the FJ cruiser?

The trucks with a manual transmission or a locker come with the 8.75” diff. The rest come with the 8”.

 

Does the FJ cruiser use the 8"?

 

FJ used 8" and switched to 8.2" with the 5th gen 4runner.

They are prado based and I don't think interchange with tacoma.

 

Would the 8 inch 3rd member from a 3rd gen bolt right into a 1st gen Tacoma?

 

Here’s a fun chart to know which trucks have the 8” diff. A fun fact is that the 3rd gen Tacoma 8” diffs are not interchangeable with any other 8” diff as the bolt pattern and housing is just slightly different than previous models tv6 non elocker. But the gear sets are interchangeable.
