Try the search bar next time before subjecting the rest of us to an inane mpg dick measuring bar.

I understand now I see you’re from California I’ll stop conversing with you now since it’s pointless you will ever understand. But please feel free to start another thread on oil changes or if 33’s will fit…etc.

Funny because I was driving home tonight thinking I drive this little turd of a truck and struggle to maintain 19……all highway and stock too.

I drove from Bennett to Montrose on July 1st. I took I-70W to C-470S to US-285W to US 50W, going up and down multiple mountain passes, passing a few slower drives on occasion.

I achieved nearly 23 mpg on the trip. The computer was 0.5 mpg lower than the actual mpg of miles divided by gallons.

I easily probably had another 100-125 miles to this tank but running the fuel pump that low is hard on it, so topping off in Montrose was a given.

    What makes this impressive?

    - numerous mountain grades
    - extra 75 lbs for the Westcott Design rock sliders that were installed the previous weekend.
    - 350 lbs of cargo.

This is with the OTT Tune flashed in since early May, which I continue to be impressed with.

The truck was gliding up and down grades with relative ease, I had to drop gears a few times going up Monarch due it’s sheer steepness but the throttle response made any struggle minimal.

I did use cruise control as much possible and maintained 65 - 70 mph for most of the trip except in lower speed limit areas.
