Haven’t gotten that far got derailed on Tacoma with Harley Davidson things. If Mr. Bozen would do a package of both poly motor and trans mounts, that would be the deal, just do em all at once. I need to rotate tires and lube my control arms this weekend so I’ll probably take a look under there to see how it’s mounted.

I wonder how close a 2nd Gen Tacoma manual trans mount is to a 3rd gens.

    Everything.
2nd Gen taco trans mount is unfortunately a totally different design. It will be a future project to have that option available as well, probably next year. I'm getting blown up by the 1st and 2nd gen tundra guys for trans mounts currently so those are the priority haha.

Again, I see some discussions about vibration, id point you to the Tech Info page of the website where I summarize that based off my personal and my customer's experiences over the last almost 2 decades of selling these parts.

    https://solid-offroad.com/tech-info

I fully understand that the 3rd Gen trucks are still fairly new, so possibly changing the stock like ride quality in any aspect can be daunting. Now alotta guys will throw mud terrains on, super throaty vibrating exhaust systems, intakes, uniball/poly control arms, stiffer shocks, etc and drastically change the ride quality and in cab resonance regardless.

In contrast, I legit can barely keep up with the 1st and 2nd gen truck crowd orders as they are experiencing a much higher frequency of engine mount failure due to the fact the trucks are just plain older. At some point, the wear and tear and miles will add up and the 3rd gen trucks will start to fall into the same situation.

But the bottom line is, these aren't for everyone. This is a performance upgrade, that can change the characteristics of your trucks stock OE feel. I have some customers that run the upgraded mounts on their 2020 4Runners, and love the added performance, better shifting and overall feel. But, Just like aggressive tires, or different gearing, its not for everyone:thumbsup:

So other than @su.b.rat anyone else running these? I’ve had these on most of my other cars (granted making way more power) and I like the solid connection feel. Just need to decide if I want to pick these up too.

Just got them installed today in my ‘21 auto. I didn’t do the install but they had no issues. They are noticeable in gear while stopped with a slight shake/buzz in the seat, more than the steering wheel, and that goes away in neutral. You can for sure feel a difference. I assume the manual trucks get away without noticing this much. While driving they are awesome. Connected and controlled just like what I imagined wanting them to provide. I’m happy with them and recommend if you don’t mind losing the smoothness sitting at the stop light. You can actually tell the engine is running now lol.

Damnit! I was really hoping for some miracle saying they sucked.

Thanks for the review. Looks like I’m going to have to pick them up.

No problem! I read an earlier review that mentioned them softening up a tad after a few hundred miles and becoming less noticeable at idle. I would welcome that for sure, but am good with them if that doesn’t happen. The truck took on a whole new attitude from the driver’s seat…and to me those are the mods worth chasing.

My apologies to your check book in advance

Good, I agree. I’ve loved them in other cars. Definitely going to get these now.

Sorry haven't been on here in a minute, Instagram messages are taking up the majority of my days!

I usually have the laser cut kits in stock, but they still need to be built. All kits are built as ordered, in the order I receive payment. So if you want a kit, send me an order

    That being said...

If there is enough interest, I will do a group buy for a "black friday" type deal. This would apply to 3.5V6 motor mount kits. If you want a different vehicle specific kit, we can work a comparable price out.

Minimum 5 people committed to make this happen.

$350 per kit if 5 people commit.
$300 per kit if 10 people commit.

    Plus $20 shipping.

Bulk sales (GB) allows me to buy in bulk from my suppliers and therefore I can lower the prices for you guys.

Any 3rd gen folks are interested in Motor Mounts? We are running a group by as a new dealer for Solid Offroad. If there are at least 10 3rd gen folks we can make it happen. We are almost going on our 4.0 Motor and Transmission mounts.

We need to set pricing, but it would be similar to what has been offered in the past with some market adjustments.

    DM if your interested.
