    Some companies will give you a stipend for company use of a personal car. There are a few strategies out there but my preference was a smaller fixed payment (in addition to a mileage payment) that did not show up as personal income. The catch is that you have to flip the car every 4 years without exception. My line of work required 4wheel drive and most of my colleagues went with full size domestics. They paid way more and trade in value sucked. I had 4 of these Tacoma(s) and I was ahead on the stipend, way ahead on the mileage (cuz nothin' ever broke) and I always scored large on the trade in. Dealers were so desperate in December of '21 that I nearly traded up from my '17 to the '22. It was insane, I had a terrible windscreen, dents, and a wrinkled bumper.

    anyway, another reason some folks trade in all the time...
