Wow, that turned out amazing...must feel good to have it done! Appreciate the detailed pics for 57" leafs, pretty sure that's the route I'm going. Got the driver's frame rail cleaned up this weekend...progress has been slow.

It's taken way too much time. Many late nights and days off work, still took me almost 2 years. It's still worth it, when it's done.:)

As promised, very slow progress. Front frame rails are clean and rear sump/pan done.

NWFab Eco-Crawl box with triple shifter ordered (6-8 wk lead time). Turns out my junkyard case is a chain drive VF1 (behind 3vz, 5 bolts on rear output case)...gonna run it.

Thanks for the picture! Your panhard bracket definitely sits further inboard (your axle is wider by a fair amount). Brian sent me pictures of his on an FJ80 axle and his sits just inboard of the tube/knuckle ball bead which is where I placed mine. I may have to place my coilover mount on top of the bracket vs. outboard as there's probably not enough room. I need to get the frame-side brackets on and links mocked up...i'm sure stuff will be moving around once I have a full picture.

What did you do for a t-case/tranny mount? I need ideas.

I'm running FROR tcase crossmember. Will eventually add a belly skid plate to frame support for the oe transmission mount and rf1a.

Right on, that may be the easiest route. I've seen those crack case housings before (on the internet), but with my driving style I doubt i'd have an issue.

Those cracked fror crossmember are for the rf1a. I haven't seen one cracked for the vf case.

Turned mine into a 3 (but use 2) piece for easier removal. Plus, my setup is kinda weird.

I can't seem to find a compatible mount for my VF1 case (FROR only makes for the gear case, or newer taco/4runner chain case). I've sent FROR a question seeing if they make one. If not, i'll probably just fab a simple one up using a factory mount.
