You're using the 3.0 case, forgot about the 80 axle

I cut up a Tacoma Trailgear dual case mount and welded it to 4WU link brackets.

I thought about integrating the free TG crossmember I got from a buddy to accommodate the 4wu brackets like yours but my front shaft sits too far back and will bind. End up turning it into a skid plate instead. I still need to somehow built a frame brace to support the skid and turn it into a full case skid somehow.

Interested to see how that works out. I have that same mount and it flops all over under the truck.

Slander, are you talking about the trans or the mount it self flopping?

This is gonna be full bump. 1” higher the axle hits the pan and upper link mount is in the motor mount. Ride height will be 4” higher. Tcase is out and crawl box kit should ship soon.

Cracked into my junkyard case, pretty damn clean.

Ran into an issue with the NFW shaft, 20 mils bigger than the VF1 shaft and planetary won't fit. Anyone else experience this issue? Sent a note to NWFab so we'll see.

Added some reinforcement to the front horns, will run a 1.5" .120 wall tube in between to stiffen the frame a bit before cutting out the trans cross-member (anything bigger gets in the way of the compressor line). Plan is to add a 2x3" piece in front eventually for start of the winch mount/bumper.

NWF got back to me very quickly, and are taking care of it...solid customer service. The bearing face of the shaft wasn't finish machined.

The cases took longer than anticipated. I experienced several minor issues, which Nwfab was super quick to respond to. Customer service alone I’ll go back to them every time, and great products. Got a piece of schedule 40 welded in up front to brace the frame. Deleted the evap stuff to make room for the driver coilover tower, need to take out the stock intake and ABS module to make room for the passenger tower (want to keep cruise control still). My next real challenge is figuring out a trans mount so I can get the lower link mounts in. Once that happens I can start getting the 3 link mocked up.

Also, looking for a full float fj80 rear if anyone has a line on one in the PNW. Will be spring over with 57” f150 packs.
