If you’re driving this summer you’ll still beat me by at least 6 months.

Well I’m running the factory rear axle to start. I’ll swap the FJ80 rear in once I pop something in the back.
So I’ve only got to finish the front to drive/wheel it.

I wish I would’ve held out for an 80 rear. Hopefully getting the front on the ground tomorrow.

Ordered some liquid iron rear sliders, ruff stuff front hangers, and trail gear 4" springs (pull leafs as needed for ride height). Decided against going the F150 route (TG springs are also ~57").

Damn I should’ve gone high steer. I’m fighting panhard placement right now and I would have no issues if I were high steer.

Well, trail gear bushings are kindof a weird size and utilize 18mm bolts. Drilled the ruff stuff perches out to 19mm, and Amazon'd some 9/16" ID, 11/16" OD bronze spacers to accommodate the liquid iron bolts (and UMHW pucks/sleeves). Need to get the t-case in next.

Nwfab with 3vz case. Hammered it a bit and it fits, but it’s tight.

Got a crossmember built out of 2x3” box tube, it’s disgusting. Gonna try again with tube.

Hell yeah they are! I tried getting the duals up with a floor jack and ratchet straps. Picked up the harbor freight trans scissor jack this morning and went in 5 min. I need a lift.

I pulled mine up into my lap, laid back and then scooted them up my stomach and pressed them into place. Skipped chest day that week. Lol.

mine fit pretty well not clocked off the rip, I’ll end up clocking it some since the RF1A hangs down so low.
