Weird, I’d think the case would be almost the same. Maybe I have it jacked up too high? Do you still have the factory mount on the rear case, and if so what’s the angle?

The RF1A seems taller and that the forward output isn’t like a direct line from the input, so you have less risk for interference to the tunnel. The factory mount on it is damn near flat currently.

I’m running out of steam, mounts are going here for now. Gotta build up the packs and set it on its weight to double check before burning them in. Ass will be a little high I think.

This is what my buddies are trying to get me to do. Going to hold out and 4 link it though. Lmk how you like the leaf setup. What’s your plan for shocks?

Long term, i'll probably relocate my tank and 4 link it as well. Shocks will likely be outboarded fox 2.0's. I need to fully cycle it to determine what I can fit and get them ordered. Will def report back.

Shouldn't have any issue with outboard shocks then due to the added width of the axle.

That's my hope! I'm also hoping I can figure out how to tie in the 3rd gen rear abs sensor wiring to the 4th gen rear abs sensors to get the speedo working. From reading, it looks like just the rear abs sensors are used as an input to the speedo. Any experience/guidance?

If the plugs are the same, you shouldn't have any issue. If not, de-pin it to use the 4r plug. 4r use abs signal for speed. A buddy ran lc80 rear axle after his SA on this 3rd gen and utilized the 80 setup, speed still work.

The plugs are different, but signals might be the same (edit - to your depinning comment, this is the path)? Good context on the 80 setup...i'll remain hopeful and give it a shot. The alternative is the signal output on the 3vz case tied directly in behind the gauge cluster.

Should share the same signal concept. I would de-pin the 07 to use the 4r plug on the axle end so it will plug to your body harness.

Definitely sounds like the simplest solution...i'll post up when I figure it out (or fail trying)

I haven't played with mine up front yet. I was going to ask how you did yours lol.

For the rear I'm not sure. I figured worst case I'd swap to the tcase output.

The front sensors provide signals to the abs module, which i've deleted. The rear sensors also provide signals to the abs module, but additionally feed the speedometer. Sounds like it could be super easy if you still have tone rings on the rear axle (and an abs plug/receptacle), and if not I found writeup to go from the t-case directly to the speedometer. I'll figure it out and let you know :)
