    Hello,

I have never off-roaded with my truck. Well I do use my truck, but not for off roading. Will I ever? Maybe in the future. My question is for the rear suspension. I currently has spacers with my leaf springs to get the 6" height. I am looking for a smoother ride. For the front I have Icon coilovers with 700# springs that I put on to remove the spacers.

How do i make my truck ride smoother? I know ICON is not the smoothest, but I heard was good for on road riding which is why I went that way. It does seem to ride better with them then the stock hitachi and 6" bracket that was on it.

Do i need to replace the leaf springs with 6" leaf springs and remove the spacers? I am guessing that is what is making the ride harsh still. If so what brand is recommended? Also what about the rear shocks? I know I can get ICONS for that pretty cheap I was told when I ordered the coilovers in the front. I am not sure what is on their now as far as that. What will make the most difference the leaf springs or the shocks in the rear?

I see others have done drop bracket 6" lifts and tried to read more about them. But they don't always post everything that they do. Also since I am a noob when it comes to lifting I wanted to get some advice. Ok let the flaming begin.
