I've been quietly following these forums for awhile & learned allot.
I've looking to set up my '13 to run the fire roads around home & looking to get 2" or so of lift on my daily driver with Firestone bags already installed.

I've read of guys here swapping 3rd Gen struts to 2nd Gens & get a 1" lift.
My question is, does anyone see any problems installing 6112's for a 3rd Gen on my 2nd Gen truck?

I didn't really see any differences on the Bilstein site other than the greater adjustability due to more rings.

I figured I could set then on the clip 2 & 3 to get 2" of lift & compensate for my driver's side lean at the same time. I really like the idea of not having to add spacers & looking to stiffen up the frontend
