My daughter, at college, and my Dad are the 2 closest numbers on my screen. I have called them each several times when adjusting volume and usually at the worst possible times (for me). I love my Dad but he loves to carry on long conversations while my daughter is usually in class. I totally get that and that is one reason I just had to find a fix. Has not happened since installing these. I think all of us 3rd genners have had this happen. Thanks for the purchase. They will probably go out on Tuesday.

If you are really producing these and not just buying rings and reselling, you should make them side specific. I bought normal rings and I hate the volume side because it hangs off the end a few mm because that button moves and in and out.

That is exactly what I do. They are the correct length for all the push button features. The inside of the material I use is already a tight fit and the length and outside diameter are machined by me in my garage. I have tweaked the length to extend just a hair above the knob face. I could easily make them flush with the face but I, and others, like the way they function by sticking out that little amount. I assure you these are not bought and sold as is. It is difficult working with rubber so there are slight differences in each one made. I make sure to pair up identical sets. Both sides are the same length since both buttons have a push function. Once they are seated there is a gap behind them exactly like the stock knobs have. Thanks for the input which is always welcomed.
Correction. I may have mis-spoken about both having a push "function" per say but both of my buttons do spring in and out. Either way the appearance is better with both being the same length.
Truth is that if I could have found pre-made rings I would just share the link. I tried o-rings and other options before I just decided to make these. I was going to buy the size 13.5 silicone wedding bands but that particular size is nearly double the price of mine. And, again, thanks.

    Oh perfect.

I have a set already but they are just off the shelf rings. Maybe I'll pick up a set of yours since they sound like they'll fit better.

Maybe I will take a picture tomorrow. I leave tooling marks on the back side of mine so you can see they are machined to length and not something out of a mold off the shelf. I rough polish the outside and face for better grip. I know this is too much info but now you know I put these through 3 processes to make them.

Would it be better to just send payment through Paypal or send you a PM first, wait for response, then send payment?

Just wanted to clarify. ;) Great job BTW!
