How do I find that rear panel? I tried ordering one with the part number that was posted and they sent me the wrong part. I also went to a local dealership and he said that they discontinued that part. Does anyone have a link to that exact part where I can buy it?

Did you use, “64270-04140-C0?” If so, what did they send you instead? I ordered mine earlier this year through Toyota of Lake City (Washington) - they have great customer service.

If you’re unable to purchase the panel through Toyota or any other parts store then your best bet is to look for a trade or seek out a wrecking yard.

Sorry you’re having a hard time finding it.

When I search for this part number (64270-04140-C0) online or an online toyota parts site the results are a different looking panel. This is what is coming up.... I placed a delete seat in the back cab and this won't fit, also I prefer the version that is posted in this thread. That design might be discontinued.

Search 64270-04140-C0 on Google. The C0 is black; I don't know what the other color codes are.

If your VIN isn't an SR5, the dealership will tell you it doesn't fit but it does. I shopped around online, then had a local dealer match the price.

Does anybody know if this will fit a 2019
    Part: 64270-04140-b0

The new version of 64270-04140-C0 is very different from those posted on this thread.

When I got mine (the panel in the middle leaned up against the garage door), the number was 64270-04140-C0. This was the back panel for a SR5 access cab. When I changed out mine, the dealer swore up and down it wouldn't fit an 2016 OR and I'd have to pay a restocking fee if I returned it. It snapped in just fine. It's not like Toyota built different cabs for SR5s and ORs. BTW, I didn't get the storage lids or the other parts; this is a stock photo, but it looks like the back panel I put in.

It looks like the single piece back panel is now 64270-04140-B0, although the pattern on it doesn't look like the one I bought; it looks like it has indents for seat backs.

The other one (64270-04140-C0) now is a portion of the two piece back panel with the two jump seats.

I might go into a dealership and talk to the parts guy about getting the one you want.

I don’t understand why they would make a completely different part with the same number. It’s frustrating. Thanks for all the feedback everyone, I appreciate it.

    Just the basics
Reviving this thread...most likely a moot point but does anyone know if the fold down seats from a 2nd gen (Pre-09) can be installed in the 3rd gen? This would be a great option. With so many similarities in the 2nd/3rd gen I wonder if it is possible.

I am wondering the same thing. My favorite feature on my 2008 and want it in my 2016.

Probably yes. The 3rd gen has the same adapter plate securing the rear center console as '09+ trucks, which means the pre-'09 threaded holes are still there.

Old post now, but yes, I would expect any rear seat bits and pieces should fit.

The seats bolt in, but they won’t fold all the way up (i.e., so you can sit on them) because the handle interferes with the rear panel. The gen-2 panel has recesses to accommodate that, but I’m not sure it will fit a gen-3 OR. The SR5 panel, having the lower portion of the panel recessed, looks like it will clear the handles, but I haven’t tried it. Also, the seats are slightly too wide so you will have trouble closing your doors. I have found this goes away if you just force them closed and let the plastic trim settle into the right shape for a day or two. That will form an indent on the storage compartment in the door.
