Don’t get me wrong Hawai’i is amazing. Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else...but it’s super limited here as far as off-roading spots (at least here on Oahu where I live) :annoyed:

Awesome set up! Looking to do a similar lift. I’m guessing you removed the overload in the rear?

    265 / 70 / 17
    1.5" Spacers
    6112's up front (clipped at #5 / #4)
    5160's rear

I have a slight taco lean on the rear. Tried to remedy with a new 2019 drivers side spring ($40 on OfferUp) - no luck.

Wondering if I added springs for 1" on the rear, cut the bumper and added a hybrid bumper (c4 fab), if I'd be able to fit 285's w/out rubbing.

what notch are you on the Billies? By 1.5” angled blocks do you mean the normal pucks that you put under the leafs? Thanks!

I have the front 5100 at lowest notch... Front lift is only from the OME 885 springs. Yes, normal rear blocks, but tapered to stop the drive shaft vibe during braking.

I'm just starting to build up my 2021 TRD OR AC and due to the harsh winters (salted highways) here in the upper mid-west I've decided to seek a cheaper suspension upgrade than the Fox 2.5 DSC. Both the previous Tacos I have owned (00 and 06) had the frames rusted out and were purchased back by Toyota or replaced.

I have installed a cheap 1"(2") spacer lift on the front to just get a concept of how the truck would look and also to view the front drive shaft angles along with checking interference on my planned tire/wheel assembly. Seems with a 2" front lift the inner axle boots rub the fins on flat ground and for the amount of pavement miles I drive I'd like to minimize this.

Based on this check with the spacer lift, I'm leaning towards the Bilstein 6112 front with clips set at 5/4 (exactly like yours) and keeping the front lift at ~1.65". I'll also go 1" in the rear or more once I get the rear camper shell purchased in installed. Have to take the build in stages..

With this set up did you get the 1.65" front lift that is specified by Bilstein? or something different after the suspension settled?

Edit... after reading thru the entire thread I see a few others using the Bilstein 6112 on the front. Any comment about lift expectations from those of you using this front coil over?
