3rd Gen and a new Colorado

The door panel plastic in this Tacoma where my knee rests against it is all scratched, scuffed up. I stick with what I said. Fucking plastic is plastic.

They put so much plastic on the interior I bet you could take a Bic lighter and light the plastic and it would take off like a house on fire. Who needs a accelerate.

 

Same here but I will probably be driving a new RAV4 Hybrid.

Whatever gets me the mile and a half to Walmart and back. If I need a truck I can rent one from U-Haul.

I had a look at a Z71 Colorado, I actually prefered the dated interior in my Frontier. The Tundra has my favourite interior of any current truck.

 

Well I have a 16 Colorado and coming up in 2 yrs next month and 51k miles so far. I can say I think the interior is much nicer in the tacoma especially the new 18 pro limited or premium pkg. Mine is the diesel z71 and been a good truck. I test drove the zr2 diesel and gas and then the pro. I will say the zr2 is definitely more comfortable seating position is so much better. Don't know why they won't fix that in the tacoma. But as far as interior i agree 100 % and I have a colorado still that is my biggest complaint is interior.

 

What model Colorado? I’ve thought about switching but it only be for a ZR2 duramax which is a different animal compared to the gasser without as many options

 

I test drove a Colorado base 4x2 6-speed stick before I bought my Tacoma. I did like the engine/transmission pairing, but the interior was so bad.

If it was 4x4 manual trans I may have been able to overlook that, but the taco 4cyl 5spd drives just as nice just a little less power.

 

I'm not sure of the model, it was free! Has pretty much the same options as my TRD Sport with Technology and Towing
