    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
My 16 year old Tacoma is doing just fine... My 18 year old Honda Accord, goodness knows how many owners, is perfect except for the cab light. My 17 year old Honda Civic has an issue with the sun visors but otherwise not falling apart...

Some tabs on the cup holders broke off of my 15 year old '03 years ago. Cheap? Nope. Other then that all the Plastic is intact.

Well I can say 2.years.with.z71 colorado.diesel and after driving the zr2 it.is lot.better better looking and handling than the z71. Zr2 would be only choice for.me other than a new tacoma. But interior in zr2 is still same. That is what u give up.plus a lot of other stuff.like blind spot parking sensors lane control addaptive cruise and blinkers on the mirrors. Tacoma is so much nicer.in this area.

I really thought hard about frontiers, Colorados, and even an older S10 zr2 when I was ready to buy a truck, but I was set on 4x4 and a manual trans, and decent off-road performance.
The only thing that came close to the Taco for me was the old ZR2 s10, and I couldn't find one of those with a manual transmission.
The diesel, 5 speed, 4x4 Frontier was close as well, and the MSRP was about the same as my 4 cylinder Taco. But it felt kinda cheap, didn't have as much ground clearance or as good of an approach angle, and even though it's built within 40 miles of my house, the dealer acted like it was pretty much impossible to get a manual trans on this side of the planet.
So I've had my '17 Taco SR for a little over a year now, and don' have a single complaint, other than saying that a little more power would be nice, and I'll need to add some Air Lift helper spring/bags in the back for when I haul both motorcycles, although I drove 3500 miles with 2 KLR 650's in the back last summer, and it did just fine.

My 17 Tacoma is the first vehicle I've ever had that was newer than 20 years old.
I felt very fortunate to be able to afford a brand new truck, and appreciate it a little more every time I drive it, after commuting all week in my clapped out 95 miata, or taking a 500 mile road trip to go wheelin in my '80 hilux on 35's.
Those of you whining about your newish tacos are some spoiled little kids haha.
It's a damn nice truck, and will probably be running 20 years from now, and I'll still be proud to have it, because it beats walking, and it'll be paid off.

Agreed! And why are all the drink holders in the door panels at an angle. Better be a bottle with a screw on cap or an empty can!

2 things I did not like about the Colorado I traded off was the cable dipstick and I could not reach in and feel the serpentine belt. I tried different ways just to put my hand in to feel the belt but no way. That is one thing I always do when I pop the hood. If I feel cracks in it I get it replaced.

I found them good to catch dead flies in. Use to love it when a big horse fly would get in as I was getting out. I knew I would see his dead ass in the door panel the next day.

Not as much of a bitch as an observation! I do like the fact you can turn the rear view camera on while driving if that helps!
