It's a free line when T-Mo was giving some away.

It is a solution to tethering and carplay at the same time, but the zlink is hit and miss in my books

I've only had it a day so I can't properly form an opinion on it yet. It takes a little bit longer to connect when I get in the car than I'd like, but it'll be setup usually before I leave a parking lot.

I do wish the track you were playing would automatically pause when you shut down, but I'm not sure where the fault lies there.

I got it so i have one button to press for carplay to start. Your home wifi may interfere with its finction, so best get it started away from home wifi.
As for music memory, the only one that remembers and autoplays is the native video player, so now i play music videos instead of mp3s. There is memory in other apps such as poweramp, but no autoplay

Which app are you using for carplay?
Check out agama car launcher. Its a convenient way to setup all your buttons to your liking. As you can see i start my carplay with that one button. I have music video auto start with the video button and my mp3s playing through vlc on the music icon, so in reality, i can play 2 different tracks and chamge between them and they will remember where they left off. Volume is that green band so you can circle for up or down. When you drag each button to the middle more apps pop up. all buttons are customizable and the so is the color scheme

So I’ve come across a really fucking annoying problem that I haven’t found a solution for. Any time I am listening to the radio or Google Play Music in the Android portion, when I switch over to using CarPlay (for Waze or calls, etc) the volume drops for a good 15-30 seconds then pops back up.
Popped in my spare SIM card and thought I had the perfect setup but this could be a dealbreaker. It’s too bad GPM on CarPlay is an abject disaster. Have to think the issue is with the Zlink app.

There are some sound settings to fiddle with. Try the wireless dongle cuz it does carplay thru wifi, not bluetooth. Different app(autokit) and you can delete zlink

As I said before, wireless CarPlay works the exact same way be it a dongle or built-in. There's no audio settings that make a difference. I tried them all.

It could be the app, because it does it wired as well. I can't find anyone else who has this problem, though. May try resetting the HU.

So I ordered from China on February 5 and got an email stating that they would ship it out February 10 due to being on holiday and today I get another email about a shipment delay this is why I’m always nervous about ordering from China. I guess we’ll see if I get a third email for delay I might just try and cancel the order.D02673C2-46BB-4680-A868-ED36799339C2.jpg

    I mean, they're basically quarantined.

Anyway, I think I figured out exactly what is going on with the Zlink app. It requests audio focus from anything else, but I think the error is that it does it each time you open the app even though it is already running. The length of time is also stupid long, but I'm not sure that's something that can be fixed. I'm putting an email to zjinnova right now, but we'll see if translation issues get in the way of getting my request across.

So I read through all of this. Did I miss the step by step install? Do you need a Maestro kit for this? Is the Canbus option an extra cable or setting in the stereo? Does this work with the Car Solutions Anytime Camera kit?

They will finish the order, they need the money and need to keep a good reputation. The country is crippled right now, just give it time, I have a bunch of things currently sitting in china waiting for the all clear.

If you ordered the canbus version, it just plugs in and works. The camera kit should work just fine, just plug it into the harness like you would normally with the OEM headunit.

What about iPod usability? Can you plug one in via USB like with the Entune?
