There are a number of manual transmissions that were used behind the 1GR, both 5-speed (R150, H150, and M155) and 6-speed (RA60, RA61).

The R155, R155F, and R156F from the Tacoma 2.7L can be bolted up behind the 4.0L in the Tacoma. You would need the following parts to do so:

31111-60350 - Bellhousing
33301-60130 - Input Shaft
33131-60080 - Bearing Retainer
31204-60110 - Release Fork
90363-12002 - Pilot Bearing
31470-60330 - Slave Cylinder
36201-71020 - Transfer Input Shaft

I could also provide the part numbers for the clutch lines, hoses, and brackets, but most people would probably just make their own, I suspect. The Tacoma has the clutch line go from the firewall to the engine then down to the transmission, while the Prado platform the line goes down to the transmission along the body then over, so it would be a lot more intrusive to install on the Tacoma.

I am not entirely sure on how the shifter will line up, it might need slight modification to the floor, but not much. The transmission mount and drive shafts will all bolt up without issue.

Do you know of other transmissions that could be bolted up to the 2GR besides the RC62F/61F/60F? 5 or 6 speed. Mainly asking because the 60 and 61 are nearly too much work to be worth bothering with.
