Yeah, most of the dealers around here wouldn’t even consider trying to order it. But in the end a couple offered to get it, and I went with the one that seemed to be more optimistic about it, and less pushy. It took a while but I’m glad I waited and didn’t settle for something else.

Second, if this option is truly that rare, than I must be an extremely lucky man.

Took my 2019 Volkswagen tiguan to get a windshield replaced at the dealership. Was bored while I waited so I went to go look at the Toyota lot. They had ONE new Tacoma and it was a DCLB Barcelona red TRD Sport. Ended up trading in the Tiguan and left the lot with the Tacoma the same day. Apparently a guy ordered it months ago and wasn’t able to pay for it by the time it arrived.

 

Match made in heaven.

 

I think the 4wd version is a little more common than BanjoBen's. In general barcelona red is not as common as other main colors like super white, silver sky, magnetic gray, and midnight black

 

Part of it depends on your region. The dealers in my area don’t get many long beds, and even fewer of them are 2wd. In other parts of the country they seem to be a bit more common.

I'm officially back in the Barcelona Red club!

Two weeks ago my 2021 White Tacoma got a baby sister, a 2022 Barcelona Red. Both OR's, 4x4, long beds.

Last week I got the 6112s and 285s BFGs on the BR to match the White Taco. Also got the pro grill and black overlays. Here are some before and after pictures from when the trucks arrived two weeks ago and today.

I've had my Taco over a month now and been stalking Tacomaworld for a few months.

TLDR

See, I'm self employed and I drive a lot for work. My 2016 Cherokee had 200000 miles on it when I traded it. It still ran great but I was tired of loading ladders in and out of it and wanted a truck again. I was basically sold on a Colorado...and GL trying to find a sport Gladiator with a hardtop, but like I said I drive 40000 miles a year and I wanted a vehicle that will last longer than my bank note.


I just couldn't get past Toyota's reputation. So I decided on a Tacoma SR. But nobody seemed to have one. After keeping a eye on every Toyota dealership within two hour drive for about a month I found this beauty
