went oem because it actually ended up being cheaper than aftermarket and had the spot for my MTM camera

    Tire size?

I have a Sport coming in next month and am considering a larger tire and I know it comes stock with the 265/65r/17.

What type of tire is that? And what size?

I'm considering a larger tire for my 2022 Sport and I know the original size is 265/65r/17. I want to upgrade the tire without a lift, so want the biggest one without it rubbing.

    Nothing major yet.
Does anyone here by chance own a 2019 TRD Off-road with a vin ending in 270501? I’m trying to see if I can find where my previous Tacoma went and thought this could be a good place to start. It’s registered in Bristol, TN, but that’s all I know about it.

Just posted this message on the long bed thread, so my apologies for the repost. But I figured I would post it in the BR thread as well.

22 OR LB, will be turning 2k miles this week :)

On another note, just washed it over the weekend with no rain in the forecast. And guess what? It's raining! Oh, well. Guess It's due for another wash later this week.

Hey, they are 265/70R17 Falken wildpeaks AT3W's. They only rub super rarely and randomly when turning and reversing at the same time. And it's on the mud flaps so if it was really a problem could just take them off or find skinnier ones. But I believe that this is the biggest tire you can fit stock.

This is the same exact trim I will be getting for my 2022. It hasn't arrived yet, but I am also going to get black emblem overlay, black tailgate insert, black exhaust tip, and black rims (17" TRD matte black alloy wheels for 4runner). Now you got me thinking about that grill! Whereabouts will you get yours? Will it be OEM? And do you plan on putting it on yourself?

I changed my wheel size to 16” and upped the tire size to 265/75/16. On 17s you can go up to 265/70/17

I was originally going to do that but the Toyota parts guy suggested I get the same size wheel. So I’ll see how it looks. But yours def looks sharp.

That grill looks sharp! Where'd you get it? Is it OEM?

Yours is exactly what I'm getting. And I am NOT digging that pinstripe. I have already bought most of the items I will use to black out my exterior (TRD Pro matte black 17" wheels, black emblem overlay, black tailgate insert, and black exhaust tip) so that pinstripe must come off if it too is on mine.

Is that a 16" wheel? And if so, what size is the tire? I'm getting a 22 Sport in about two weeks and am considering staying with the stock 17" wheels and get a 265/70/17 tire OR get 16" wheels so I can bump up the tire even more to 265/75/16. Not considering a lift at the moment so I am doing my homework here before I dive in.

    Beautiful! Is that an SR5?

Mine is scheduled to arrive 2/1 - hopefully sooner. The dealer still has to add its stupid add-ons but my sales guy said that should only add on a day.
