    Does anyone have pictures?
I currently have an 2015 SR and am wondering how it compares.. The 3rd gen looks are growing on me...

However I am wondering if the SR 4x4 2.7 will have the crawl control and the different types of settings. Will it be similar to the 2nd gen where the base model gets trac and if you go up in price you get A-Trac?

I will keep searching for an SR model. Thanks!

So the base model is an access cab, and a regular cab is not available?

The base model with 4 wd and four cylinder, just wouldn't be worth the extra money over the 2015 IMHO.

Dumping a four cylinder previous gen that was perfectly serviceable for a four 2016 would be like leaving your present wife with whom you had a great relationship with, to marry a more beautiful woman who won't have sex with you....I think.:ballchain:

SR has color keyed wheel well fender covers (I am not sure what you call them) and the TRD doesn't?

SR's do not come with fender flares/covers. TRD off road comes with black flares.

At least the basic truck will not be as lame looking as my 2007 SR5 acc 5 lugger did.
6 lugs and a V-6 option would have been my choice back then but Pre-Runner was not in the budget at that time.

Crawl control is standard only on the OR. The TRD Sport doesn't have it.

All 2nd gen base models have black over fenders and bumpers. They weren't called "SR", because in 2014 and 2015 "SR" was a option for the base trim which included key colored over fenders, front grill, bumpers and black aluminum wheels.

With the 3 gen to eliminate confusion all base trim trucks are considered "SR trim".

2014/2015 "base trim" with "SR key color option" .

    Yes it is!

2016 SR models will be similar to the 2014/2015 SR trim with key colored bumpers and mirrors, if you purchase with convenience package (cruise control and remote keyless entry) you'll also have the option of black alloy wheels.

You have the 2nd gen base trim plus convenience package, which is being replaced by the "SR" trim similar to the white 2nd gen truck posted above. Key colored bumpers, mirrors, less over fenders, and if you opted for convenience package you'll have the option to purchase 16" black alloy wheels or stick with regular 16" steel wheels.
