3rd Gen BHLM and light mods

Unfortunately I lost both while changing out my headlights to an aftermarket setupup today, that is a great suggestion though

 

Isn't it the same as the 10 mm that's on top of the light?

 

Is there anywhere that sells a clear marker to replace the amber reflector in the headlight? It would look so much cleaner. Or maybe even take the amber reflector out and add a chrome amber bulb?

 

I thought I remembered it being a bolt but I'll try and see if that fits in the morning, good idea, thanks!

 

Just read through this entire thread and it’s got me feeling a little brave!

 

For those of you who retrofitted with the rx350 projectors, do you still have the headlight bounce that all the hid kit people experienced? I know with such a sharp cut off you are going to get bounce, but people seemed to report that it was awful with a lot of the hid kits and the stock projector.

 

I did not. The only "bounce" was from the stiffer suspension and since the cutoff was so sharp, any minor elevation change was noticeable.

I can’t for the life of me remember the brand as I did this over a year ago, but all I did was swap out the amber bulb for a chrome one and it looks great.

 

It would look bad without something in that spot. This is my headlights. DK moulds made my side markers. This is the light smoke version, there is a clear and dark smoke version as well.

 

This is exactly what I was looking for, did you have to custom order it or they already have them in stock?

 

Supposedly they custom make them, but I would bet someone would have then in stock. Check Lightwerkz site. Those dudes are the go to company imo for retrofits. I did hear that DK moulds building burned to the ground recently, but someone has to have a set in stock.

 

They have them in stock last time I ordered.

Thank you, I ended up finding a diagram of the housing and the part number is 90105-A0076 and my dealership is just going to sell them to be for two bucks.

Negative. The Morimoto HID kit I ran before bounced like crazy, it was super annoying.

How do high beams work w those rx350 bi-xenon? Is there two plugs for one projector? Is there a shelf in front of the lens. I can't wrap my head around it.
