Question for everyone. Are 4 headlight projectors legal and how hard to wire up? Trying to decide on single rx350 or rx350 plus matchbox?

Don't know the legal jargon... but 4 properly aimed projectors are still safer on the road than those Reflector HID tards. Not to mention it won't be very noticeable to incoming traffic (besides dat flicker). But don't ruin that sweet RX cutoff by runnin some matchbox's over them . Nooooo

So that decides it for me. Gonna stick with single Rx's. Thanks

I tried my first attempt at this tonight and unfortunately I failed. I was able to separate the glue from the lens but I couldn’t pry the lens from the housing.
I feel that I didn’t have any leverage with a screwdriver as the housing was soft and this caused the housing to get damage and bend.
    Any suggestions?

Just keep heating at 300@10 mins intervals. Took me 2-3 times before it got started. Once able to get me fingers inside, another heating and just do on side and then the other and then wiggle the end out. The more you heat, the easier to pry apart so continue to heat at 10m intervals when needed. Start where the large clips is and sort of pry the houding backwards keeping a wide grip as to not place to much pressure on the clip itself. Its is a bitch to get started, but once started, mostly brute force and quite easier after that. If clips bend or break, use a heat gun to bend back in place as well as plastic welding. Even the lip around the glass can be molded back with heatgun so dont worry so much about damaging it. An extra piece of plastic is good to reconnect brocken clips. I had to dryfit back on truck to get the right angles for the clips, or compare to the other headlight. Just keep persistant and patient and you will get it. We all have had these issues prying lights apart so dont be discouraged. Good luck

Thanks for the replies and useful information. I tried to reheat like 3 times but I gave up after struggling with it so late. I’ll give it another go in a few days

Man, that is tempting! I did my 2G headlights...maybe one day I'll do my 3G. I've got the Pro grille and fogs, this would give me the last piece. Of course, if I screw up, I'm out big money, but I've done it before.

I really like that you kept the projector ring silver as I've always liked that look on any headlamps with projectors.
