    Nevermind, figured it out.

For posterity, the Red (wire on headlight harness)/Green (wire to battery) is the DRL and the Orange (harness)/Pink (to battery) is the parking/marker light. Black is ground.

Driver and passenger sides are different colors, but the pink/red are at 100% brightness and the greens are dimmed when the low beams come on

Sorry dudes, I've been kinda overposting in this thread, but I promised some people a look at them installed so here's pics! The cyclones work great as turn replacements and look super stealth with everything turned off. Having the Diode switchback DRLs makes it very visible when I'm turning. I used a wiring adaptor to plug the cyclones into the stock turn bulb socket which I tapped into for the Diode board switchback function. That keeps the wiring inside of the housing, so no janky T-taps outside of the housing to get power to the switchbacks. I'm a huge fan of less wires hanging around.

Just ordered about half the materials for this project. Likely going to do it like the pro headlights except in matte black, and no chrome on tip of the shroud where the projector is.

I'm going back and forth whether to do the amber acrylic in the turn signal or not. It does look pretty badass though, but having no amber over the turn signals looks pretty clean too.

Also debating on doing a major retrofit and adding two or one square projectors. Something about leaving the chrome in where the brights are just kinda throws off my OCD. Doesn't look bad, but it's gotta be all black or nothing. Really love the raptor headlights how they have the rectangular shrouds/lights. Would be cool to pull something like this off that looked clean in a Tacoma. Haven't done too much digging but if anyone knows of some lights/shrouds to pull this off let me know. Was thinking the square gatlin guns from theretrofitsource could be cool. But something more rectangular would be ideal.

IMO this is how the pros should have done their headlights. Even though the third gens have white DRL's, the amber reflector in the front keeps it consistent with the previous 2nd Gen amber DRLs.

Also @mesojdm is this the Krylon Cover Max Matte black? Def agree matte is the way to go.

I went all blacked out including smoked acrylic turn. But my OCD doesn't like the empty high beam buckets so zero chrome. Next set will be quads and hopefully done fairly soon..

Right now mine is just zip tied in a loop. How do you have your harnesses mounted? Right now I used roofing tin to creat a mount but looking for a better solution or to get my mount 3D printed in plastic.

I just have them like you since I'm going with quads there will be a lot more wiring. Hoping to find a small black box for each side to put the extra wire in because I dont want to splice it. My ballasts are mounted on the front cross bar but there will be 2 on each side stacked with spacers for air flow.

That’s a nice mount. What material is it made out of?

Thanks, It's just a piece of thin angle iron painted black. Worked great.

Finally got this done today. What a pita... side note, for some reason in the DRL position the DRL’s arent on anymore. Don’t know what I did, they come on when in parking or lights on though.

Yeh I saw your set up. How do the brights work with the reflectors blacked out?

With the RX350's projectors you have high and low beam all in one so you dont need high beam bucket so mine is empty. Many keep it chrome and use it for extra high beam lighting but it's not needed. The RX350's high beams are plenty.

Ahh gotcha, I'm most likely going to keep my stock projectors as the light output works for me. I could do what you're talking about and just put a dummy shroud/lens over where the brights are or keep the stock projector and put in another projector where the brights are.

I've seen a decent amount of people putting a circular shroud and projector where the brights on the stock headlights are.

However, I've searched high and low and if anyone has seen the Square Mini Gatling Gun Shroud go in the socket of where the brights are please point me in the right direction as I'd love to see how it looks.

The drl is on dim with parking or headlights. So for some reason your bright drl mode isn't working. Not really an answer but might point you in the right direction.

Im about to connect the high beam splitter for the rx350. I have a pink and brown wire do they have a specific side (haven't found any info on it). Also a question on the drl it is always on even when in the off position any thoughts. I can turn halos and demon eyes off in the xbt. I can turn the drl off but it turns back on after a second or two. I can take some pictures tomorrow of the wiring

The high beam should have a plug on it or at least mine did? Splitter should plug right in? I would have to check when I get home from work tonight. Maybe @no vtec 4me can help out? He is very good at retrofit 3rd gens.
My drl is always on. They should be dim when headlights are on and bright when in DRL position.

Has anyone painted the the side portion of the bright's reflector bucket? I was looking at some headlights and the reflector buckets looked like they were black/smoked chrome because there was some black that was reflecting in the reflector bucket.

Was curious if anyone has tried this yet?

Even if you painted that portion black I would think the high beams would still work pretty well.
