Here's a question for y'all. To try and keep the housing as sealed as possible, I was thinking I'd try and run the wires out of it this way. Is there any reason this wouldn't work? Each device has its own driver and everything, I'd just be using the stock wires as a bridge.

Are the power sources for the DRL and the Halos the same? I would be a little worried because you're basically going to be using 1 driver for both devices if 1 is off, make sense? Ground is generally fine to share, but I would hesitate to share hot wires like that.

From the driver to the halo or DRL should have separate wires. You can still run the wires through the grommet. Just cut a very small slit just big enough the get the plugs through. Then reseal with good rtv black silicone. Just don't cut the outside part that fits in the housing.

That doesn't sound too bad. I'll do that with the side marker too

Just big enough to put the fitting through. Then you can fill in the cup as much as you want.

300* for 10 mins worked like a charm!
Had to put it back in the oven for an additional 4 mins to finally open her up.
Painted with Eastwood Rat Flat Black & painted the DRL orange to match my color scheme.

    Almost done!
The dimming thing doesn't seem to work and the sidemarker comes on before the halo and the drl. Otherwise I'm ok with it

I REALLY want to do a basic BHLM where I am just painting the chrome. I was considering the amber acrylic replacement but I would just keep the rest SR5 stock (no led adds or lens swaps. My only fear is the bumper removal actually. How tough is it to remove and reinstall?

for me, the removal of the front bumper was the most difficult part. Cause the bumper is held in place with a plastic clip that's kinda tough to get too. But you really don't have to remove the entire bumper to get your headlights removed. Just lower the bumper a little to reveal the 3rd 10mm bolt holding the headlight in place.

    hope this helps..
