So my googler isn’t tuned properly and the search on TW didnt fully answer my question. This seems as good a place as any to ask.
The plan in my head is to swap the drl board to the DD rgbw board and it would be very cool to also have a rgbw halo drl. Firstly, I’m struggling to find a rgbw halo and secondly, would the DD BT controller work with other brands of led manufactures?
Kinda feels like I may be asking too much to have them both rgbw and hook up to the same app.

Also anyone have experience with adding smoked tint to the halo/drl. Did it turn out well?

I don’t think there is an RGBW halo. The DD BT controller does work with other brands. I’m using it to control the Profile High Lens 2.0 RGBWs in my retrofit above.
Due to the phosphorus coating on the halos and led strips, the tint film doesn’t stick, trust me I tried. I ended up using profile smoke rings to tint my DD halos. They worked pretty well.

OK, I didn't stop where I have these today. Will be tomorrow. But I am 95% sure I have them, so if you just want to PM me your address, I'll send them to you (and I'll confirm that I do have them). No charge, I have no use for them.

Got my diy bhlm in with amber covers. One tip would be tape your headlight covers in full taking out and going back in. That stuff scratches easy.

Thanks for the tip! It looks great on the truck and I can't notice any scratches.

Does the amber side marker have a light underneath it or is it justa reflector?

I’m gonna guess you could probably use that. The same stuff I made my signal covers out of. Just use the stock to draw a template. Cut with a fine tooth jig or band but go slow. Epoxy in place?
