Forget those, just shoot em flat black and put a bulb in for looks. While the headlights are open anyways, bolt in a bi-xenon projector. Problem solved.

Damn.. don't know what to tell ya the .
Well, time to just go full blacked out then.
You could "try" to lightly wet sand then with 2k grit and shoot them again.

I just hit them with more nightshade. I take looks over function. They're darker than I wanted but got rid of the spots. I'll test out the reflection later tonight.

Alright guys, so I completed my BHLM this morning and all I can say is wow......this is so time consuming and takes so much patience to do along with detail. It took me 2 1/2 days to complete as I have my little one on the weekends so she takes more of my attention, otherwise I would have had it done in 1 1/2 days. The hardest part of this I would say is having to remove the factory permaseal (if you're going to use a new seal).

I have multiple cuts/scrapes/stabs/burns from using the screwdriver and heat gun, but at the end of the day it was sooooo worth it. I won't do a write up but I took just a couple pictures along the way to show the progress. Below are some shots :) bye bye chrome!

Thanks man! I was nervous on getting the housing and cover off but I went with 300 degrees for 10 min and it loosened up the seal pretty good, the second headlight popped off almost immediately after breaking the seal all around so that was awesome

I used rustoleum white primer and Krylon Fusion in flat black. Used up the whole can of paint and got about 6 coats on all the parts.

No point in using the 'fusion' stuff for plastic if you're going to put it over primer anyways. Probably would have been better to stick with Rustoleum paint over Rustoleum primer. Also, why not black primer?.. Anyways, its all good because there is zero chance of scratching or anything since its inside the headlight housing.

Headlights looks great btw! I appreciate all the photos, gonna pull mine apart soon
