3rd Gen BHLM + Retrofit Projector

I personally like the pros and would love to purchase one from you after you get the pros done.

 

Simply amazing. Idk if anyone is still doing it, but I'd trade mine plus cash for a set to keep the flow going. I'd even keep the stock lights, I just want the paint. Located in SC.

 

Anyone in CA near sacramento that i can pay to open mine up and black them out? I just want the chrome piece black and leave the orange reflectors alone. I have a base 2017 SR tacoma. I did my 09 tacoma but just dont feel comfortable to do it again.

 

I might have a forum member here to install mine once i sell my wheels and tires. Until then i might try this myself. When i open the lens how easy is it to dismantle everything? Also can I use latex gloves to touch the lens inside the light to remove? Also last question once rdy to install back together what is the process on cleaning? Alcohol wipes and compressed can of air?

 

Oh forgot. The retrorubber once i put that into place do i have to put the lens back in the oven to bake or just clamp the lens down and let the rubber do its thing?

question: I'm getting ready for BHLM and getting my ducks and products in a row.
Little more clarification on 2 items.
The Butyl tape and the blue tape you used to protect your lens.
Obviously the blue tape is high heat resistant, what is it!?
And as for Butyl tape, I found this on Amazon, i would like to use 3M because I know its a good product but is this right?

 

Anyone near Denver, CO who can help or perform the mod for/with me?

(well 8 per side)

They are perfect. Wouldn't change a thing.(except maybe add a switchback DRL board from DD)
