very well, than I will use forums to keep up with your work, I planned to do retrofitting to mine, but nothing crazy like yours. this is what ill be trying to achieve, also, can't wait for the Acura retrofit pics.

 

Looks good. Do you have any "off" pics? The DRL tube looks good at night when illuminated, but I don't like the big white strip when it's off

 

Sadly this one is not mine, just my reference of what I want to achieve. I'm getting anxious looking through all your threads, I just wanna start retrofitting my pro lights haha.

People retrofit for a reason= performance. only good thing those spyders are for is for a bucket to then tear apart and retro

 

or just to have black lights, but yeah I myself will be doing rx350 projectors like you, the output looks crisp.

 

That's what I will buying them for, so I can retrofit them and have my pros as spare or sell them

I'm getting ready to purchase I'm assuming you went with the tuned clear lenses, do you think it's needed?

If I want to leave my high beams stock, which pieces would I not order.

Thank you, this write up is going to make me do something I probably never would of attempted.

 

I would suggest the clear lens. You are going through all this work, why stop short on a good upgrade. now or never/
My highbeams are stock. Use everything I listed

 

Thanks for all of the detailed info! Just wrapped up my BLHM today! I'm happy with the finished product, but getting there was an awful roller coaster of misery and pain.

I appreciate it fellas. Masking off the lens at the beginning was probably the most valuable tip from OP. I had to manhandle those suckers and they probably would have been ruined without tape.

 

mine are already ruined from trees and shrubs, awesome pin stripes everywhere

 

Yup, I've learned the hard way not protecting the lens. Even with a clean workbench, tools/screwdrivers/etc can find their way under the headlight when things are hot and heavy getting them open.

 

Working on my new retro... it's gonna be tits. Clue: 100% LED.
