    That amber acrylic sure looks good I may have to do that too. What is the thickness of the one you used?

    Did you end up painting the reflectors? Hows the look? Light output with the RX350 bi-xenon?

    I was thinking of doing the mod but would want to black out the reflectors as well. Sounds like i would need to add different lights if i wanted to do this.

    in other news... I have officially confirmed... the stock bright reflectors suck ass regardless of what you put in there... My 50w HID kit (was my lows before the RX retrofit) are very underwhelming. (still waiting on my harness for to actually wire up the ballasts for the lows) I imagine I won't even be able to tell they're on once I get everything wired up. Kinda wished I'd just painted the reflector bowl black now. might have to try and bribe @mesojdm to do a quad projector setup for me LOL

    For the halo / diffuser install what diameters are y'all using? Are you just putting the halo in the diffuser and wiring that in like normal?

    Also, is this just keeping the cutoff shroud down for low-beam all the time? Has anyone tried wiring in a motor of possible?

    Jk. My bad. I should've read there bi-xenon.... Brain fart.

    I was talking about the solenoid in the projector that actuates the cutoff. I thought they were only low beam. I was asking if there was a way to add a solenoid to them to actuate low-high beam.

    @mesojdm
    Sensei i have a question
    I want to run amber lights (halos) all the time but that they also flash when the turn signal is on do you think wiring a 5 pin relay would work ?

    Yes. I'm doing that for my illuminated side reflectors. You don't need a huge 30a relay, a small mini relay will be fine for a halo.

    I have all the parts, but haven't found the time yet to do the mod. I'm still on the fence about tinting or painting the reflector bowls. I actually bought used headlights on Ebay, so I can take my time on this mod. I'll post pics when I get to it. Hopefully soon.

    Has anyone tried black chrome in the bowls to keep some reflective properties?

    I was thinking the same.. If the hi-beams don't add anything and I keep the hi-low with bi-xenon then it'd work. I like the idea better than flat black since it won't be just a bulb chillin' in there doing nothing.
