Looks great. I like satin black a lot, but I do like how the gloss black actually looks darker...to me anyways.

How did you get the amber acrylic cover to stay put behind the turn signal grille?

I used two-part epoxy to glue the amber acrylic to the “grill”. I do recommend that you only put the epoxy around the edges of the “grill”. I put glue on the middle and made a mess

It is not that hard, I used a grinder to cut the acrylic. There’s also a few videos on YouTube on how to cut acrylic. I could make the acrylic cover but you would have to send me your headlights which would be too much of a hassle

Those turn signal shields look good on there. Nice job.

Wow, that's a great find (assuming it works)! I'd be interested in hearing someone's results with this too

Yeah I REALLY want to know if this works. I'm trying to avoid the conversation with my wife as to why I'm cooking parts of my truck.

Wanna know how I know you didn't read the description...

"Keep in mind, this isn't a magical serum that just pops the housings right open, it's merely a supplement to make the process easier."

    Let's quote the whole description.

"Liquidy Goodness: What the hell is it? Permatrator is an injectable solvent that takes no bull from the worst of sealants. We summoned the retrofit gods for a magic elixir to make permaseal easier to work with and remove, and they granted our wish with this priceless nectar. Well, not priceless, it's $30. If you've ever had to deal with permaseal before, you know this is pennies compared to the anger caused trying to open those hellacious housings.
Necessary Evil: Permaseal is the term we coined for high-temp sealant used on many newer headlights in recent years that isn't quite-so-compliant to being opened. The trick used to be high temperatures for longer periods of time to get the permaseal to lose it's vice-like grip. With this higher temperature penetrating the housing, the plastics can be easily marred or damaged trying to open the housings. Have no fear, Permatrator is here!

Usage: Slowly inject the solution directly on and into the permaseal. Allow a few minutes for magic to happen, and start gently prying the housing apart at the seal. Voila, magic! Keep in mind, this isn't a magical serum that just pops the housings right open, it's merely a supplement to make the process easier."

@SearArtist as a side note, I could of sworn this thread was a place to get advice from people about tips and tricks for BHLM. Not a place for back handed insults. I'm sure you're a nice guy in person though...

Just changed my mind on going with this style but with MGM highlights. Decided to go ALL Matte black instead. I guess just being safe since I know all black looks great..
