I honestly have no clue. I just know I tried to clean the inside on a set once and it made them slightly hazy. I was very careful not to apply pressure and I used a lens cleaner cloth.

    I need some advice.

I did the BHLM a year ago and I have tons of moisture in my passenger housing. I also scratched the hell out of the lenses so I need a new pair to begin with.

Currently looking at the depo housings because of price and a hope that they aren't sealed as well as the oem housings.

I want to do a dedicated low and dedicated high beam, no bi zeon. Not sure if the rx350s are only bi zeon or not, could use some expertise their. If not, are there other projectors that fit our housings well or is it a custom mount scenario?

The RX350's are pretty much a direct bolt on with a little trimming. It can be used as a low beam only but not sure why. Just don't hook up the high beam shutter. As far as the high beam area you are looking at a much smaller projector unless you do some major modding. Plus you would need to go with a halogen or led bulb. Hid bulbs take about 15 seconds to warm up so not much good as high beam only. I'm no expert but going through similar ideas lately.

Trying to decide, amber or smoke. Probably smoke with everything else black.

I agree with amber. For a few reasons:

1)it will have more visibility letting the amber light through VS the smoke(I’m all about performance)
    2) once the fishnet is on.. it is still looks pretty blacked out.

Of course if your goal is as smoked as possible..do the tinted one.

My headlights have the smoked. Depends on your ultimate goal, but I love the look of the Smoked. More visibility with Amber obviously because they are lighter, but again it’s what you are looking for with your headlights

Well my current lights are completely black except the halo and have smoked and love the look. New ones will be the same with some added items but got both smoked and amber just in case. Not too worried about visibility since I will have drl and maybe halos switchback. May be too much turn signals tho:notsure:

Damn @mesojdm have you seen Audi and the headlight tech they have. They project messages to pedestrians. Crazy. Need some laser tech in my life lol.

Where are you guys getting your angry eye switch backs? And what size halo ring is recommended? I saw someone mention 80mm but that's the only thing I have seen.
Is there anyways to make the halo less obvious? The one from TRS seems to be arctic white, but I would prefer not to have it be seen that easily when its not lit up

Does anyone have a picture of what you need to paint for the passive demon eye effect?

For the angry eye halo you just paint part of the halo black. @mesojdm is the only one I know of who lightly tinted his halo yo make less visible. I'm sure someone can help with the passive demon eye.

Also forgot, 80mm is the correct size for 3rd gen OEM projector housing.

Did some test fitting on test light housing today with person setting up my quads. Primary projector will have standard 80mm halo. Smaller projector will have 70mm instead of really small 60mm most are going with. Can't afford a Meso quad build but its close. [IMG]
Also tested another addition that will be installed. The turns are extra bright.
    Thanks @mesojdm .:hattip:

What it will look similar to when done. No etching tho.

Looks great, and as long as you are happy is all that matters.
Take extra care snapping the side markers in, the little mounting tabs are thin. After installed I put a dap of epoxy on the inside for added security.

Already planned on the epoxy. We are also going to make sure the smaller projector light pattern is just slightly below RX350's so it won't mess up the clean cutoff patterns. Btw, this guy is the lead builder and has been following all your light builds especially your quad setup. He does not have a Toyota but very impressed with your work.

It’s brighter and more visible than a stock reflector(plus it doubles as a turn signal). I don’t think you should have any worries with LEO.
