3rd Gen BHLM

Wondering if anybody has done a BHLM on a '16 yet? I've never done one before so I'm terrified at the thought of putting my headlights in the oven, but I think blacking out the giant chrome piece in the headlight would look awesome. If anyone has, pictures and details would be greatly appreciated

 

Same process as the 2nd gen.

Overheating isn't everybody's issue.

 

I didn't heat any adhesive up to remove my badges. Is it impossible to just get them apart without heat?

Though for the price of replacement housings you can pay some stranger on the Internet to paint them for you.

 

Guess that oven heat will be extra low and maybe a razor instead of a butter knife

 

It's worth it but be prepared to buy a new headlight if you fuck up. Been there done that.
