I have the 3rd gen bilsteins set at 1.55 setting with 285/70/17 tires and it sits level. Also there's not rubbing at all

So does it look level or measurement wise, it actually lines up level? Just want to make sure. And definitely don't want any bro lean for my rig at least.

It is really difficult to guarantee a particular stance since so many variables can come into play. In order to try to get the best results possible, I recommend measuring your current rake (from the center of the hub to the bottom of your fender on all 4 corners) to see exactly how much higher you sit in the back as opposed to the front. This way you will know about how high you will need to go in the front and/or rear to get you near the stance you are shooting for. Measurements should be taken on level ground in order to be as close to accurate as possible.

Coils can break in and in the end yield less lift over time. Each truck can ware differently since each driver drives and uses their truck differently so being level at one point and settling more over time isn't uncommon. Just like bone stock trucks, components wear.

Just from looking at it it looks level with no bro stance what so ever

Just ordered the third gen 5100's fronts from the website. Props to Marie for the support here. Props to Headstrong for the lowlow prices and free shipping. Shooting for the 1.55 setting to get level for now. I'll back to order a full lift kit when my wallet says it's ok.

Is your truck 4 wheel drive? If so I've read that putting it at the top setting is not recommended, if it's 2WD then you have no worries. I have the 3rd gen bilsteins set at 1.55 setting with stock coils and achieved 2 inch lift. Maybe with the different coils you can achieve 3 inches. Idk for sure though.

I put it on the second clip from the bottom and actually got a pretty good lift from it probably around 3"...looks great!

Just want to clarify, I won't need, err, I shouldn't need new UCAs or diff drop with using the 1.55 setting?

You shouldn't need the UCAs, but really this depends on the actual lift achieved and whether or not there's adequate adjustment left at the lower arms to make the necessary corrections following the lift. That said based on the lift indicated by Bilstein (1.55") in my experience you'll be fine.

The diff drop is not really needed IMO, again based on the lift numbers. Even if you were to go a little higher personally I wouldn't bother with the diff drop.

I purchased everything from HeadStrong; installed the 3rd Gen 5100's set on 1.55" with 1/4" spacer on the driver's side and got roughly 2" of lift (stock springs). Added a 1" block and 5160's in the back. Added the diff drop and Light Racing UCA's in the front as well. The truck now sits almost level, slightly (1/2" at most) higher in the rear. Just under 23" in front on both sides, and 23" in rear on both sides.

I feel it drives noticeably better than stock. TRD 17" wheels (dark gray), Cooper STT Max 275/70-17's, plenty of clearance.

    Thanks to Marie and HeadStrong!

Looks bad ass! Looking to do basically the same thing. Trying to avoid UCAs and diff drop tho unless I decide to go bigger. Definitely interested to know if you get any settling over time. I think we'd all be interested to know if you get any with the new 3rd gen 5100s

Snugtop, 5100's, weather tech mats floors, truck bed, Tinted front windows.
So bought 5100's from you last April for 3rd gen. So did I make a mistake in trusting you with this purchase since now there is specific 3rd gen 5100? Wth! Please clarify...

Unfortunately, we do not make guarantees as far as wheel and tire fitment go because the combinations are endless and each combination varies. I typically advise my customers to check on the forums to see what others are running in way of wheels/tires and see what lift height and what trimming, if any, may be needed in order to clear. With that being said some people do try to run a near 33" tire with a 3" lift but some trimming could be needed.

okay I have read so many posts on 5100's for leveling that I can make the decision that 5100's on all corners is the way I want to go on my 2016 TRDOR. What I want to know is what is the measured distance from the center of the eye of the bottom shock attachment to the lowest (first) height adjustment clip seat (for the front 5100's pre 2016+ and 2016+). I know the compressed lenghts and overall difference in length. I want the requested information to compare relative measurements so I can determine which (pre 2016 or 2016+) shock fits my need. I will be ordering once I get requested info. Thanks Marie!
