Lol. Your brake light(bulbs) on your truck right now are actually white. They shine through the red lens, thus creating a red brake light. A white reverse light would do nothing but create more red (IMO not the best for visibility backing up)
Deleting the reverse from my tail lights was part of the original plan. Sacrificing the location for a dedicated super bright turn signal. The new reverse will be flushed mounted in the rear bumper.

But I like brainstorming!! Keep throwing ideas out there, there is no end to enhancements.

I need them on mine too:rofl:

Why not have the white reverse lights here?

How about a small Rigid light in the middle, like the square one you put on the side mirror? Not sure on size, but would guess the LEDs would still shine bright enough not to be noticed when flashing.

@mesojdm - I feel like the best tail light for me would be a clear lense with your led boards, the "raptor" outline, the normal reverse light and an Amber sequential LED in the spot I circled a few posts ago.

That's actually my plan for the back to the future lights. I am putting a white rigid for the reverse. Although in a different location..
ya that works. And my original plan was to put the turn signal on that dead spot. But I was modding (at the time) only the red TRD off roads, and they would not have looked good though the red lens. All of these mentioned mods will only work with the limited/pro clear lens.

Speaking of, somebody else got some BROPROS. Who dat?!

I believe I'm the 2nd lucky owner of a set of BROPROS. Just got them installed and must say I think they look pretty awesome on MGM. The functionality and performance is mind blowing to me, hats down to @mesojdm, truly a wizard!

Gotcha, I guess I didn't realize you had a red lens instead of a clear lens on there. That makes way more sense now.

Love it. Put an amber led panel in the middle please. Use it as emergency/flasher/turn signals. Leave the C LED for brake/running. That would be a total home run.

Finally got my truck back today (long story), and got home after a Cardinals baseball game and had to throw these on, otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep. (Probably won't sleep now anyway.)

For those that are asking if they are worth it, I took a couple of videos during the install to compare. Stock tail on the left, @mesojdm "Picasso's" work of art on the right.

In short, these are a must have mod!

I've seen some people had issues with super bright backup lights and the back up camera. basically that the overly bright lights washed out the camera at night... any issue with that on these?

    thanks

I haven't had a issue. The picture has a little more "noise", but as long as the lights aren't directly point/reflecting off something into the camera lens I think you'll be fine.

@jptheriot looks great! I don't think the camera really puts into perspective how much brighter the brake lights LEDS are VS stock halogen bulbs.

Completely agree. I did this with the iPad and it doesn't do the brightness or clarity justice.
