Fantastic work. They look like little minions when both lights were photographed together. Lol.

If I may, I think from a styling standpoint, it would look 100% if you were to run the neon tube back around to the front on the bottom. It would fill in the shape of the whole lamp.

I wanted to.. trust me. But You can't. The bottom section of the tail light lens is clear.... so WHITE light would be shining through(you don't want that while driving down the road). If the White LED tube is behind the red lens, that is fine.

The last ~4" section near the bottom you could see the white light shining through if you stood directly behind it. I used red electrical tape to mask the color. (bet ya couldn't tell;))

Also, if anyone is interested if a full size light socket can fit in the OEM reverse bucket... You bet.
    Just enough clearance to get the breather rubber cap back on;

Here is a comparison to OEM PRO's(on left)
You can see how the entire Right lamp has a "glow"

    Nothing worthy
    Ya ya.. lol
I did BHLM on my 01 IS300 THE WRONG way
So this time I'm getting my info, courage and ducks in a row 1st. I have the skill set, just need the time and space.
It's hard in the winter with no heated garage to work in.
    Spring project!!
    Oh, just doing BHLM.
I love the look of the black in the tails you did. I think I may tackle that too minus the fancy LED work you.
    Again, AWESOME work on those.

    Workin' on it!
Prototype PCB drop-in LED panel is in final design phase. Once I have it in hand, I will cut open my PRO tails for the final test.
Might offer a retrofit + BTLM service...we'll see.

^ I just call it a glow tube, because that's what it looks like:p
All it is, is a flexible led strip enclosed in a opaque rubber tube that dissipates the light.'
Just google search; flexible led tube

I wonder how it'd look like if you used those "led tubes" in place of the individual LED's.

What exactly is that? Raptors have standard F150 tails that are black bezels.

    ^ It's a made up term by me:goingcrazy:
Basically, it's just an outer perimeter LED(ran through a diffuser) for side visible running lights.
(not just raptors, all new Fords have it)

Taking the dremel to the PRO lights later...EEEEk
    Fingers crossed:fingerscrossed:
