Sorry, I misspoke. You are correct. However, even with tax, it's $1614 to my door.

However, I see that you're offering these bumpers with the frame support bracket, so that price would have to be factored in. Unfortunately, the C4 bracket won't work with my King suspension, without modifying the reservoir bracket. I'd probably go with the BAMF support brackets for that reason.

Anyhow, thank you for the response. Good luck with sales!

Can you run these on a stock Trd OR suspension or will I need a spring (or total suspension) upgrade?

I would recommend doing a suspension, the bumper itself is about 125Lb without any lights or winch, you might be able to get away with it on stock springs if you don't add any more weight to it but you'll notice the difference

Could I just step up the springs if I am doing front with pods and a winch or do you mean a whole new setup? I was planning to overhaul when I got a rear bumper as well, a little down the road from the front.

I would personally do the full suspension for example you can do the OME kit and run a medium load rear leaf spring and then once you get a rear bumper you can add the extra leaf to make it the heavy load to compensate for the added weight.

I would not recommend running these on stock suspension. Even my SSO slimline (with winch) caused my TRD Pro suspension to sag about 0.75" and was very noticeable in turns and stopping.

Bilstein 5100's might be a good solution for you.

Also, if you're running factory tire sizes, this bumper might look a little goofy. It increases the tire exposure, so smaller tires will be more pronounced.

I currently am running 265/70/17 tires. Think those will still be goofy? I was planning to eventually swap to 33s after an appropriate lift for wheeling.

I ran mine with a winch on stock Pro suspension and tires for several months before moving up.

Cool they’re in stock, not the bumper for my taste though. Bring in an SSO complete and I’ll be waiting outside!

This is why I went for an aluminum CBI bumper (which I bought from Mule, and was cheaper than buying than CBI direct actually). Didn't notice any difference when installing, plus I think it weighs like 45 pounds or so. I will say I wish it was slightly higher clearance now that I have my 35s and pushed the tires all the way forward, I had to trim some off the edge and its not easy to go through 1/4" aluminum with just an angle grinder lol.

I did the same thing. It’s nice being able to easily take it off by myself if I need to. My winch with steel cable weighs more than the bumper does.

Have you guys done any big winch pulls with the alu bumper? Any issues?

I haven't had to winch myself out but I've used it to pull a K5 Blazer with a broken front axle through a rough steep muddy step at the end of a trail out at Browns Camp. I had zero issues.

I think doing a good job tying the bumper into the frame is far more important than steel vs aluminum for winching. CBI does a really good job with it and I presume the frame support bracket from C4 mentioned in this thread do something similar. I'd never winch on any bumper that was only attached by the studs that hold the crash bar on. It's scary how many bumpers are out there that only use those mounting points.

My winch is sitting in a box waiting to be installed

The control box needs to be relocated so I have to fab something up, along with extending wires...unless i wanna cut through my aftermarket metal grill...
