First off, yes I know there is a dedicated forum for this kind of stuff, but my questions are very 3rd gen specific.

2 specific questions related to caps on 3rd gens:

1 - Does anyone have a 3rd gen. DCLB Tacoma with a Leer 100RCC on it WITH windows on the sides (instead of the standard toolboxes)? If so, could you share some pics?

2 - Has anyone made a RECENT (within the past year or so) purchase of a NEW (not used) SnugTop cap for a 3rd gen. DCLB Tacoma? How was your purchase experience AND how was the fit? Pics would be helpful as well.

    Now for the backstory:

I'm heavy into researching caps for my truck, and on paper, SnugTop seems to check all the boxes in terms of features and looks with multiple models that would work for me. However, everything I've read recently says that SnugTop lately has been extremely difficult to work with, and to make matters worse, the SnugTop dealer closest to me has been far from confidence instilling just from the 2 phone calls I've had with them so far hoping to get info. By contrast, the Leer dealer nearest me has been GREAT to interact with so far and has lots of experience with Tacomas and the nuances of getting caps to seal on these trucks. The only downside is that the only Leer model that checks all the boxes for me is the 100RCC, but I'm hot and cold on the looks of that cap.

Appreciate any insight anyone can offer...

Nothing whatsoever wrong with the looks of the Leer 100RCC. Whats not to like?

I put a Snugtop Rebel on my DCLB in Aug 2017. I've been happy with it so far. The fit to the bed is pretty good, but i do have a small leak towards the cab. I also opted for roof rack tracks to be installed at the factory and I have had some leaks at the mounting holes I have had to seal. Also, the workmanship in a few areas of the cap itself isn't the best. There was a couple screws missing and sealant used in the corners of the window frames was applied pretty messy. But it's nothing that bad and I'm not losing sleep over it. I'll post some pics later.

One thing I'm really glad I went with was the vented windoors. They make accessing the bed super easy, and the vents were really nice for the dog.

That's a very nice cap, it's exactly what I have in mind.
