It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
Looks good. I don't understand why people don't want the pennies! I know they're pretty much worthless and the country needs to get rid of them. But the problem is that if you don't have pennies to pay with exact change, you get even more.....PENNIES!!!! I guess some people just throw them out the window lol.

When do you think you might get a chance to start on the vape/battery box/juice bottles one?

    Nice work OP!

Also, you can print ABS at 230c, I do all day with no issues. PLA is great to get a model in your hands, but as others have mentioned won't hold up over time in this specific application due to heat in a hot car. PLA begins to melt at 180 C, but starts to soften up long before that!

Good call on the molds. I make printed molds all the time for work and get pretty impressive results all things considered. Good luck and look forward to seeing how it evolves.

I designed a similar part for 2nd gens - a phone holder insert for the cubby next to the shifter.

I swear I was more excited to receive this than my Limited grille. Best mod so far on my truck...I don't have much mods btw. Only downside is I didn't even have enough dimes in my house to fill it completely haha. Great work @tacitos!IMG_0123.jpg IMG_0124.jpg

Im in for a coin organizer w/ lid when you get them done. Tired of loose change rattling in my front cup holder

Nice work. Definitely a great way to organize the space. Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions of the square pocket? Wish we had one here to measure.
Often times we have customers with a Switch-Pros unit or similar with limited areas to mount their switches.

    Switch Panel Size - 4”L x 2”W x .5”H
    http://store.switchpros.com/sp-8100...ower-system-with-concealed-mounting-hardware/

Might be a great option for them if you make it! Just an idea

    Thank You,
    Bailey,

As a fan of your product, I appreciate the compliment.

I don't have the exact dimensions with me at the moment. But I can tell your switch panel will not fit in this area alone. However, I am working on a design that will fill both the 'box' and the cup holder directly behind it. In this setup, your switch panel will fit just fine. I can use the measurements you provided for the concept and post up a CAD drawing once I have it ready.

That would be great. It would be nice to have an option like this to send customers. I'll link them to this thread for now :D

I'm about to install a switch pro flush and the only option I have found is for the cubby on the left and doesnt look that great.

You have to redo that whole panel to make it right.

Coin Holder 1.jpg Coin Holder 2.jpg Coin Holder 3.jpg Got my coin holder with lid today and it's pretty freaking cool! I had a shit ton on spare change in that area and was getting tired of looking at it. I put all the change that I had piled up in that space plus what i had on my counter and I didn't fill it up! I have $11 in quarters alone...I'm guessing I could probably fit at least another $5 worth. The color in the pictures is a little off, it looks slightly purple. I can assure you it's not purple and it matches very closely to the color of the cup holder. I'm happy that I don't have to look at loose coins in the holder anymore. Hope it holds up in the heat next summer.....

@TRD493 Looking good! I'm glad you liked it. You probably can hold close to $16 in quarters alone. I doubt you'll have any issues in the summer, but I will replace it if anything does happen with it. I know its a long time from now, but maybe 1 year from now you can follow up on this thread and let us all know how it held up.

I think the big point about this is that to many folks loose change can be an eyesore. This little organizer solves that with what I think is OEM style solution.
