How about one for coins (quarters and dimes only) with a lid? Are you able to switch it around? Meaning coins towards the front or back? Or no lid with just quarters and dimes so a phone can stand up in the other end.

Volume is limited towards the front, however I can still put the coins towards the front, but capacity could be affected. Phones can be done, however space is another issue. Currently I can only fit an iPhone 6 at a 45 degree angle standing up. Just eyeballing it, I can fit the phone in and have (2) coin slots.

I'm probably going to mount my phone to the dash with a magnet anyways but I was just wondering. Sometimes I do throw it in the cup holder. I much prefer to have somewhere to keep some change without it rattling around. I do like the idea of a lid though, never know when some idiot will look in the window and decide he needs my change.

You might want to consider this option. I found it in a friends Scion, made by Scion (Toyota), holds a smart phone and some change. Also accommodates wiring for charging your phone.

This is GREAT. I was just thinking the other day how tired I am of all of my change sliding into my cupholder when I give 'er some gas.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
When will the basic one be available and how much?

Now you've got me thinking. I'm sure there's something more clever than just storage you can do.
