    I voted coin with Lid, but I'd really like just empty box with lid so I can use it for anything, I don't mind mixing coins with other small stuff as long as it is all covered.

    I can do that easily, but I can't help you with wiring :)

    I will be the reverse of the bin, with the top enclosed and the bottom removed.

    The tricky part is figuring out what style of button and USB port to use. If I make it with the standard Toyota style button that could be real easy. Or is there another style button I should consider?

    I like the switch location with Toyota styled switches, but voted for coins cuz I have nowhere to put coins. Can I buy one of the coin holders with no pennies?
